She's HERE...

Campbell Grace McFarland is finally here! She arrived on May 6, 2011 at 10:49 pm. She weighed 7 pounds 5.5 ounces and was 20 1/4 inches long. She has the biggest head full of sandy blonde hair, it's absolutely gorgeous. We are so in love with our baby girl. We are still getting used to our new life, but it has been the most amazing ride, we wouldn't trade this for anything. We are so blessed and thank God everyday for our new, healthy, and perfect baby girl! Here are a few pics of the past few days!

The Nursery!!!!! and the waiting game!

So I thought I would put up pics of our pretty much completed nursery. I am so extremely happy with it! I have to thank so many people for helping me get it just the way I wanted it, including, my sweet hubby, my parents, Mo, Davney, my friend Heather, and my sister! I didn't think this day would ever come because I have been such a procrastinator, but we put the finishing touches up last night, and...when Campbell gets here, and we have a mini photoshoot, we will fill the frames! Enough of me rambling, I know you wanna see pictures of my baby girl's nursery!

And these are a couple pictures of the sweet handmade cradle that my dad made for Campbell. He put so much work into it. It rocks and will be a perfect addition in the living room for her to hang out it, because he told me I would want to watch TV and not be stuck in her room all the time! He is definitely right, and I am so thankful that he loves his granddaughter so much already!

On another note, we are just playing the waiting game...waiting on Campbell to decide it's time to make her appearance. I am past ready, but know she could come at any time. If she doesn't decide to come this week, we will schedule an induction date next week! Hopefully she will want to see us before Mother's Day, but if not, I won't be mad at her...she just may have to share a birthday with her Poppy, or either of her uncle Aarons...with birthdays May 9,10, &11! We are praying for a safe, healthy and even quick arrival of our new baby girl...
I'm hoping the next post is about the arrival of Campbell Grace McFarland!

Almost 39 weeks and some maternity pics!

My sweet friend Heather took some fantastic pics of me today despite the cloudy weather and wind! That's Texas for ya! Anyway...we had fun getting a few pics of Campbell Grace in my tummy before she decides to arrive. We went to the doctor today and are progressing right along where we should be for 38 weeks and 4 days. Jacob and I still have some minor things we need to do around the house before she gets here, but we are anxiously awaiting her arrival! The only bad thing about the past few weeks has been my increasingly awful ability to get around. The way she is laying is pinching a nerve going to my left leg, so I have an ugly waddle/limp. It hurts so bad, and is making work that much harder to do. I'm thinking this is going to be my last week anyway...I just don't think my body will allow me to work next week. Plus I need to finalize everything at the house before she comes. I am hoping we get to meet her before Mother's Day, but for some reason I think she has other plans, lol! We'll see how cooperative she is when we go back to the doctor next Monday...

On to some of my favorites from today! And I did the editing myself, not professional, just on my laptop, so don't judge me...! Thanks Heather!

We had so much fun! And I'm thankful to have a few pics of Cami in my belly! I absolutely cannot wait to meet her...Hope ya'll enjoyed these!

37 weeks plus another amazing baby shower

Where do I begin on how blessed we have been by everyone and the crazy amount of love we have received! Campbell is one lucky girl! And we are lucky parents-to-be! I will get straight to the pictures. I have reached the point of almost being miserable. I'm ready to meet her and my body is ready to have her out as well...we just hope she is getting ready really soon. I have a lot to do this week with her nursery, but hopefully by the end of the week we can get some pics of it mostly done. Here are the awesome pics of the shower I had with all my Dallas peeps and family! It was incredible and my sister outdid herself once again. She is so creative. So on to my circus themed baby shower!
