What day is it? Our week(s) in pictures...

Campbell Grace is 3 weeks old today and I keep asking myself, "What day is it?" I can't believe my baby girl is already 3 weeks old. It is flying by way too fast! This week we had Jacob's mom, sister, and her boys visiting! We had a great time. I'll just get to posting the pics. They are the best part! I am loving being a mom and spending all my time with this little miracle. Jacob and I are so blessed by her. The pics are from the past 2 weeks.

Campbell in the cradle my dad made, she looks so tiny!

She loves her grandpa, and look at that grin on my dad's face, I love this!

He loves holding her...getting a little sun!

Grammy and "?" (we need to figure out what he is going to be called)

My little ballerina, lol, I love this outfit!

Elijah loves holding Campbell, even when she's screaming...

She still wasn't happy...

Campbell had her 2 week appointment on Tuesday. She weighs 8 pounds 11 ounces, and was 21 1/4 inches long. She looked great according to Doctor G! She's growing and growing! She has gorgeous blue eyes, that will steal your heart. And she still has the best head of hair! She still doesn't like diaper changes or baths. She started tummy time, and can turn her head from one side to the other and hold it up for a little bit without getting mad! We really love our vibrating bouncy seat! She loves her carseat too! We had a mini road trip to visit my parents in Fort Worth last weekend and she did so good. She was asleep before we even left the driveway, lol. That's awesome! We will see what this next week holds!

Hope everyone has a great Memorial Day/weekend!
Love y'all,

Hospital Photoshoot

I just got the CD from the hospital photographer of Campbell's pictures. Thanks to PaPa Ray for buying us the CD! Looking at these pics makes me smile, and think that she's grown so much in the past 10 days!

Enjoy the pics!

1 Week Old

My sweet Campbell,

It's so hard to believe that you are already 1 week old. It has been the best week of our lives, and I know it will only get better! You are such a good baby. We are so thankful for our healthy and happy baby girl! You bring so much joy into our lives and we have a new found love that both your daddy and I have never experienced. It is truly the best feeling and we are so proud to be your parents. We pray that you will learn to know and believe in Jesus at an early age, and we pray that you will always know how much we love you. You are our sunshine! And we are thankful to God that He redeems. You have an angel brother or sister in heaven looking over you, and we could not be more thankful for our time with you both. You are our rainbow baby and the best, most beautiful gift we could have ever imagined! You are perfect, just like God made you!

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
   your works are wonderful
- Psalm 139 14

I constantly stare at you and am in awe of you. I pray that I can be the best mommy ever to you. I know we both will fail because our flesh is sinful, but we will put our trust and faith in the Lord to redeem us, save us, and forgive us.

This week we have come to know that:

- You hate having your diaper changed...you scream at the top of your lungs, but when we are done, you are immediately quiet! (Your Grammy says you're like a water faucet, on and off)
- You aren't too fond of your baths either.
- You can go 3-4 hours at night without waking up.
- You are a good eater, unless I eat something that makes your tummy upset, and then you want to cluster feed every 1-2 hours thinking it will make it better.
- You were pulling your head up on day 3 of life. You are such a strong girl!
- You know your mommy and daddy's voices. I love how you look at both of us when we talk to you.
- You definitely love to be talked to. We can't wait until you start talking and cooing back!
- You have the most amazing smile when you sleep, one of these days you will start smiling on your own, and we can't wait!
- You have the most amazing head of hair! Natural highlights like your mommy, lol, well when I was young!
- We love you more and more everyday sweet girl!

We are so blessed to have you baby girl! Your mommy and daddy love you Campbell Grace! Thank you for making me your mommy!

She's HERE...

Campbell Grace McFarland is finally here! She arrived on May 6, 2011 at 10:49 pm. She weighed 7 pounds 5.5 ounces and was 20 1/4 inches long. She has the biggest head full of sandy blonde hair, it's absolutely gorgeous. We are so in love with our baby girl. We are still getting used to our new life, but it has been the most amazing ride, we wouldn't trade this for anything. We are so blessed and thank God everyday for our new, healthy, and perfect baby girl! Here are a few pics of the past few days!

The Nursery!!!!! and the waiting game!

So I thought I would put up pics of our pretty much completed nursery. I am so extremely happy with it! I have to thank so many people for helping me get it just the way I wanted it, including, my sweet hubby, my parents, Mo, Davney, my friend Heather, and my sister! I didn't think this day would ever come because I have been such a procrastinator, but we put the finishing touches up last night, and...when Campbell gets here, and we have a mini photoshoot, we will fill the frames! Enough of me rambling, I know you wanna see pictures of my baby girl's nursery!

And these are a couple pictures of the sweet handmade cradle that my dad made for Campbell. He put so much work into it. It rocks and will be a perfect addition in the living room for her to hang out it, because he told me I would want to watch TV and not be stuck in her room all the time! He is definitely right, and I am so thankful that he loves his granddaughter so much already!

On another note, we are just playing the waiting game...waiting on Campbell to decide it's time to make her appearance. I am past ready, but know she could come at any time. If she doesn't decide to come this week, we will schedule an induction date next week! Hopefully she will want to see us before Mother's Day, but if not, I won't be mad at her...she just may have to share a birthday with her Poppy, or either of her uncle Aarons...with birthdays May 9,10, &11! We are praying for a safe, healthy and even quick arrival of our new baby girl...
I'm hoping the next post is about the arrival of Campbell Grace McFarland!
